3. Local Plan Scoping Consultation

We are seeking your views on what the Local Plan should contain and our approach to engagement during its preparation through our Local Plan Scoping Consultation. This consultation presents an early opportunity to get involved and help shape a new Local Plan for North Lincolnshire.

The consultation period runs from Tuesday 4th August and will end at 11:59pm on Tuesday 1st September.

In line with the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) 2026 regulations, we have published a formal Notice of Scoping Consultation, which sets out more details on this consultation stage including how representations can be made and how to request to be notified of future stages of Local Plan preparation.

Reference copies of the documents related to the North Lincolnshire Local Plan Scoping Consultation can be inspected at Church Square House, 30 – 40 High Street, Scunthorpe, DN15 6NL during normal office hours (Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm, and Friday 9am to 4:30pm).
