6. Observations and advice for Gateway 2
Gateway 2 is an assessment from the Planning Inspectorate to check that we are moving towards the preparation of a sound plan.
Gateway 2 takes place after we publish the summary of consultation on proposed Local Plan content and evidence.
The gateway assessor will provide advice on our progress towards preparing a Local Plan such as our overall approach to preparing a sound plan, consistency with national policy and evidence to support our Local Plan.
We will publish both the information we submit to our gateway assessor and the report itself on the Local Plan website.
